Mr Steven Kendall DipClinHyp, ACBC, MNZSCAH, MNHC(NZ)
Steven first became interested in hypnosis in 2000, when he first learned self-hypnosis, and soon became aware of the limitless potential of being able to take charge of your own subconscious programming to make the changes in your life that you desire.
Steven studied clinical hypnotherapy with the New Zealand School of Clinical Hypnotherapy, the only school in this field registered and accredited with NZQA, and the only school in this field to meet the standards required to be an affiliate of the Natural Health Council (NZ) Inc. Steven's studies included subject areas such as counselling, psychology, human anatomy and physiology, psychopharmacology, as well as the theory and practice of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
In practice since 2007, he helps his clients to overcome a wide variety of issues through the use of effective and pragmatic clinical hypnotherapy and counselling techniques. He takes pride in being able to help his clients to become the people that they want to be, overcoming what have sometimes been long-term and debilitating issues, and where other sources and types of treatment have failed.
Steven is a member of the New Zealand Society of Clinical and Applied Hypnotherapy, and has served as a committee member of this organisation since 2009.
Steven also publishes a regular blog, Everybody Loves Hypnobear, focusing on aspects of psychological wellbeing, with a particular interest in issues affecting the GLBT community.
